Community Support Worker

Salary: £10.04 per hour + holiday pay + pension

VP Care is looking for highly motivated, skilled, reliable and experienced support workers. Ideal candidates would be experienced in spinal injury care.  The applicant must be female due to the client’s request as personal care is required.

We are looking for people to work with a 23-year-old female client who requires 24/7 care in the Chorley area, including supporting within the community with leisure activities and various hospital appointments.

 Typically your role would include supporting clients with:

  • Daily living and maintaining their independence
  • Supporting with hospital attendance.
  • Assisting with medication
  • Personal Care prompts
  • Encouraging the client to go out into the community
  • Meal preparation, and domestic tasks including pet care


To allow you to have as much flexibility as you wish we provide you with a zero hour’s contract. All applicants must be willing to undertake our training and complete a DBS check if you are not already on the update service.
