VP Care is looking for skilled, reliable and motivated workers to join our experienced and dedicated team supporting a client with an Acquired Brain Injury and Mental Health issues on a part time basis.
Our Client requires a support worker who is able to drive and needs 1:1 support when accessing the community when she is expected to use public transport, cross roads or make decisions. Our Client would like support worker input on Wednesdays and Fridays. On Fridays support is required to accompany client to her local gym. The times of support worker input required on these days would be from approximately 4.30pm – 7.30pm/8.00pm.
Typically your role would include supporting clients with:
- Encourage the client to engage in daily living skills, including domestic tasks and meal preparations.
- Supporting the client with community integration, including vocational placements.
- Working under the supervision and guidance of the multi-disciplinary team.
To allow you to have as much flexibility as you wish we provide you with a zero hour’s contract. All applicants must be willing to undertake our training and complete a DBS check if you are not already on the update service.
