VP Care is looking for skilled, reliable and motivated workers to join our experienced and dedicated team supporting a client with Cornelia de Lange syndrome and learning disabilities.
We are currently looking for support workers to work in the Sutton – In – Ashfield area with a client in the community who has a complex syndrome resulting in behaviors, Learning Disabilities, Sensory Issues’s and is on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Our client require 24/7 care on a 2:1 basis including waking nights and sleep in’s.
As our client does attend school between the hours of 9:30am – 2:30pm there will be no support during these hours.
Typically your role would include supporting our client with:
- Encouraging independence with all aspects of daily living
- Access in the community and activities
- Prompting with personal care and giving medication
We are looking for someone who has the following attributes:

- Problem solving

All successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS check, if not already registered on the update service. You will also be required to supply two satisfactory references and undertake any necessary training.
